A friend of mine who produces uploaded a bunch of tracks for me and set them as "private" then linked me, i used the download links and got full quality files. They generally even retain the original filename they were uploaded under. if you enable downloads, they're at much higher quality. The Soundcloud group you linked to is all about providing FLAC/WAV downloads, outside of Soundcloud streaming. Even if you're not an audiophile it's a noticeable hit to fidelity. It's a serious point of contention, especially for audiophiles.
